Kanchit Bunajinda

Kanchit Bunajinda is a Director of Lombard based in Bangkok. Mr. Bunajinda, primarily involved in investment origination and underwriting, has extensive experience in capital formation, financial restructuring, and providing strategic acquisition and disposition advisory services to many leading Thai companies and financial institutions. Prior to joining Lombard, Mr. Bunajinda was a Senior Vice President and Head of the Financial Institutions Group/Mergers and Acquisitions, Merrill Lynch Phatra, Bangkok, Thailand. Mr. Bunajinda holds an M.B.A. (1991) from Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration, Chulalongkorn University. He also received a diploma from the Director Certification Program of the Thai Institute of Directors.

Catherine Chan

Catherine Chan is an Accountant of Lombard based in Hong Kong. Ms. Chan has over nineteen years experience as an accountant, of which 13 years were spent working for financial and banking institutions. Prior to joining Lombard, Ms. Chan was a Trust Accountant for Royal Bank of Canada. Prior to Royal Bank of Canada, she worked for Search Investment Group, a private equity firm, for ten years. Ms. Chan holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the Curtin University of Technology. She is an Associate Member of the Association of International Accountants.

Anita Chik

Anita Chik is a Director of Lombard based in Hong Kong and is responsible for accounting, financial control and administration of Lombard's Hong Kong office since its formation in 1997. Ms. Chik has held various accounting and financial management positions in Hong Kong and North America since 1983. She has worked for manufacturing, property development and finance companies in Hong Kong and overseas, including Transpac Capital, a leading venture capital firm specializing in investments in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China as the Finance Manager. She has also worked for Amoy Industries International and A.S. Watson & Co. in Hong Kong and the Shiu Pong Group in Canada. Ms. Chik is a graduate in Management Accounting (1983) from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She is a Chartered Management Accountant in the U.K., a Certified General Accountant in Canada, and a fellow member of the Hong Kong Society of Accountants.

Duong Do Quyen

Duong Do Quyen joined Lombard as its consultant in Vietnam in 2009. Quyen has more than five years of private equity investment and management experience in Vietnam. From 2003 to 2008, Quyen was a Director and Portfolio Manager with Mekong Capital, a local Vietnam-focused private equity firm, where she raised capital for and managed all aspects of the US$100 million Vietnam Azalea Fund. Until leaving Mekong Capital, Quyen was a Director of Vietnam Azalea Fund and a member of the fund’s Investment Committee. Also while at Mekong Capital and before launching the Vietnam Azalea Fund, Quyen managed the appraisal and implementation process for Mekong Enterprise Fund and Mekong Enterprise Fund II. During her five years at Mekong, Quyen implemented and supervised fourteen investments in fast moving consumer goods, retail, property development, commodities and manufacturing sectors, as well as recruited and trained a team of seven private equity professionals. Before Mekong Capital, Quyen spent seven years working in sales and marketing in Vietnam, initially at Diethelm and then at National Starch. Quyen earned a Master of Commerce in International Business from the University of New South Wales in Australia (2003).

Francis Hernando

Francis Hernando joined Lombard as its consultant in the Philippines in 2007. Mr. Hernando has over 25 years of operating and financial experience, and has held senior management positions at several leading Filipino companies. Mr. Hernando served as Chief Financial Officer of three firms where he spearheaded successful equity raising and debt restructuring programs: Philippine Global Communications (a pioneer telecommunications gateway services provider with a provincial landline network), SPI Technologies (one of the world's largest data conversion companies) and The Philippine Home Cable Holdings (the country's second largest home cable network). Mr. Hernando also has experience as President of Filcredit Finance and Capital Development Corporation, a small finance company focused on SME lending in the Philippines. His investment and private equity experience includes eleven years at AIA Capital in Hong Kong and Manila. Mr. Hernando started his career as a senior analyst at Far East Bank and the National Development Company (a state-owned investment holding company) in the Philippines. Mr. Hernando earned a B.S. degree in Management Engineering from the Ateneo de Manila University (1981).

Anisa Keeratiworanan

Anisa Keeratiworanan is an Analyst with Lombard based in Bangkok. Prior to Lombard, Ms. Keeratiworanan worked as a summer intern for the Macroeconomics Group of the Bank of Thailand. Ms. Keeratiworanan graduated from Duke University with a major in Economics and a minor in Chinese (B.S. 2007).

Surasak Khaoroptham

Surasak Khaoroptham is a Senior Consultant of Lombard based in Bangkok. Mr. Khaoroptham has extensive experience in financial advisory, debt and equity capital markets, project financing, financial hedging, financial planning, and debt restructuring. He has provided strategic acquisition and disposition advisory services to many leading Thai and regional companies. Previously, he served as Vice President at Credit Suisse First Boston, responsible for corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and hedging activities. Mr. Khaoroptham graduated with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering (1987) with first class honors from King Mongkut Institute of Technology. Mr. Khaoroptham also holds an M.S. degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering (1993) from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; and an M.B.A. (1995) with distinction and Palmer Scholar award from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Margaret Lee

Margaret Lee is a Director of Lombard based in Hong Kong. Ms. Lee has held various financial, operational, and business management positions in China and Hong Kong since 1989. Prior to Lombard, Ms. Lee was the Asia Regional Manager for China and Hong Kong for the Circuit Protection Division of Tyco Electronics, a worldwide technology and market leader in the electronics industry. Concurrently, she was the General Manager of Tyco Electronics Hong Kong. Ms. Lee worked for Tyco-Raychem in Shanghai (1989-1991), where she spent three years setting up the joint venture company and held the CFO position. Ms. Lee began her career with Arthur Andersen, where she gained three years of audit and investigation experience. Ms. Lee is a graduate in Accounting (1985) from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She is an associate member of the Hong Kong Society of Accountants and fellow member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.

Chutima Orsirivikorn

Chutima Orsirivikorn is an Analyst with Lombard based in Bangkok. Prior to Lombard, she worked as an analyst for Bridge Consulting Co., Ltd., specializing in business operations and strategic planning. Her professional experience includes advising several of Thailand's State Owned Enterprises in the banking and aviation sectors. Ms. Orsirivikorn graduated with second class honors from Thammasat University with a B.A. in Finance (2007).

Artapong Porndhiti

Artapong Porndhiti is a Vice President of Lombard based in Bangkok. Prior to Lombard, Mr. Porndhiti was an Associate at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, the investment banking arm of the Allianz Group. Mr. Porndhiti has extensive professional exposure to both Thai and international clients in industries such as power, infrastructure, transportation, and telecommunications. His transaction experience includes privatizations, financing of large Thai projects, refinancing exercises of offshore and onshore debts, as well as strategic divestments and acquisitions. Mr. Porndhiti graduated from the University of Melbourne with a B.A. degree (1995) and holds an M.B.A. (2000) with distinction from Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration. He was also an exchange student at Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Cindy Rose Quackenbush

Cindy Rose is a Director of Lombard based in San Francisco and is responsible for financial reporting, investor and marketing communications and Lombard's fund-of-funds program. Ms. Rose has been involved with investment partnerships since 1992 and active in the private equity and venture capital community since 2000. Prior to joining Lombard in 2002, Ms. Rose served as Controller for VantagePoint Venture Partners, a venture capital firm located in San Bruno, California. Prior to VantagePoint, she worked at Ernst & Young, LLP. Ms. Rose received a B.S. degree (1991) from the University of Maryland, College Park and has done graduate studies in taxation at The American University, Washington, D.C. She is a CPA (inactive) and a member of the American Institute of CPAs. Ms. Rose is co-chair of the San Francisco chapter of the VCBC, an educational and networking organization for the private equity industry.

Kim Sichel

Kim Sichel is a Director of Lombard based in San Francisco and is responsible for the firm's accounting, financial controls, and income tax reporting in San Francisco and Bangkok. Prior to Lombard, she was a Vice President of Finance at Crimson Ventures, a venture capital firm. Prior to that, Ms. Sichel was Controller for the real estate funds at RS Investment Management, a boutique investment firm in San Francisco. She began her career in public accounting in the audit practices of KPMG, Boston and then the San Francisco office of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Ms. Sichel is a CPA (inactive) and holds a B.S. degree (1992) from Bentley College.

Thomas Smith

Thomas Smith is a Managing Director of Lombard based in San Francisco and Bangkok. He has been active in the investment field since 1979 and has been with Lombard since 1997. His investment and management experience in Asia and North America includes operational and financial restructurings, financial services, manufacturing, large scale urban public and private sector projects, mixed-use real estate development projects and residential construction. Prior to Lombard, Mr. Smith held positions as the CEO and CFO of ACI, Inc., a construction products manufacturer; Executive Vice President, WSGP Group, an investment partnership formed by former U.S. Treasury Secretary, William E. Simon, that pursued LBOs, bank acquisitions and real estate; and Senior Vice President, PSB Realty, a diversified real estate investment firm. He began his career with The Rouse Company, a publicly-held real estate investment and development company that was the first to develop the enclosed shopping mall. Mr. Smith graduated cum laude from Harvard College (A.B. 1975).

Peter Sullivan

Peter Sullivan is a Managing Director of Lombard based in San Francisco. Prior to Lombard, Mr. Sullivan served for more than 25 years with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) where he held various management level positions, including Vice President (Region East), Vice President (Operations), and General Counsel. Mr. Sullivan was appointed as Vice President by the ADB's Board of Directors in 1994 and was re-appointed as Ranking Vice President in 1999. As Vice President (Region East), Mr. Sullivan supervised a lending program ranging from $3 billion to $7 billion per annum, and a loan portfolio of about $24 billion, for the developing countries of East Asia, the Pacific, and Central Asia. Mr. Sullivan is a board member of the Pacific Pension Institute and a number of other corporations and entities in the U.S. and Asia. Mr. Sullivan began his career as a lawyer with Sullivan & Cromwell in New York. Mr. Sullivan is a graduate of Princeton University (A.B. 1967) and Yale Law School (J.D. 1972).

Scott Sweet

Scott Sweet is a Managing Director of Lombard and the CFO of Lombard Investments, Inc., based in San Francisco, and has overall responsibility for accounting, financial controls and administration of Lombard's operations. Prior to joining Lombard in 1988, Mr. Sweet worked as an audit manager at Deloitte & Touche, where he spent seven years providing audit and litigation support services to companies in a variety of industries. Mr. Sweet is a graduate of Cornell University (B.S. 1978) and UCLA (M.B.A. 1980). Mr. Sweet is a CPA (inactive) and a member of the California Society of CPAs.

Matthew Taylor

Matthew Taylor was a co-founder of Lombard Investments, Inc. and a Managing Director, and he now serves as a Senior Advisor to Lombard. Mr. Taylor has been in the private equity industry since 1983. During Mr. Taylor's twenty-three year tenure at Lombard, he acted as lead or co-lead executive negotiating and structuring numerous investments in many industries, including the DM&E Railroad Corporation. Prior to the formation of Lombard, Mr. Taylor was Assistant Vice President of R. H. Chappell Company, a private equity and venture capital firm. Mr. Taylor is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley (B.A. 1982) and University of San Francisco (M.B.A. 1987). He is a CFA charterholder.

Plengchat Triyawatanyu

Plengchat Triyawatanyu is an Analyst with Lombard based in Bangkok. Prior to Lombard, Mr. Triyawatanyu worked as a Summer Analyst for Credit Suisse in Singapore, the Bank of Thailand, and Phatra Securities in Thailand. Mr. Triyawatanyu graduated cum laude from University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Biochemistry and a minor in Mathematics, and a B.S. in Economics with a Concentration in Finance (2009).

Pote Videt

Pote Videt is a Managing Director of Lombard based in Bangkok. Prior to Lombard, Mr. Videt was Managing Director of Credit Suisse First Boston responsible for Southeast Asia, and Managing Director of Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong. His transactional experience has ranged from small entrepreneurial concerns to several Fortune Global 500 companies, government enterprises and international organizations. In its first worldwide survey, Global Finance magazine named Mr. Videt as one of the best bankers in the emerging markets. In 1997, Mr. Videt served briefly as Deputy Minister of Commerce in the Thai Government. From 1998-2001, he served as advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Supachai Panitchpakdi (former head of the WTO) with regard to international economic policy. He has also served on the Council of Economic Advisors to the Prime Minister of Thailand. Mr. Videt serves on the Boards of the Asian Corporate Governance Association and the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association, and is trustee emeritus of the Asia Society - New York. Mr. Videt graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Yale University with a B.A. degree (1974) and holds an M.B.A. (1976) with distinction from Harvard Business School.

Sukanya Wiboonkhongsatcha

Sukanya Wiboonkhongsatcha is the Office Manager and Administrative Head of Lombard's Bangkok office. Prior to joining Lombard in 2002, Ms. Wiboonkhongsatcha held professional positions at Citibank and CSFB for 18 years. Ms. Wiboonkhongsatcha graduated with second class honors with a B.A. degree from Rajabhat Chandrakasem University and holds an M.B.A. (2008) from Kasetsart University.

Eric Yu

Eric Yu is an Analyst with Lombard based in Hong Kong. Prior to Lombard, Mr. Yu worked as a summer intern for HSBC Insurance in Hong Kong. Mr. Yu graduated from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a B.Sc. in Quantitative Finance (2009).
