Kalaya Uahwatanasakul is a Vice President of Lombard based in Bangkok. Prior to joining Lombard in 2011, Ms. Uahwatanasakul served as a Finance Director at Canadoil Group, an integrated pipes and fittings manufacturer for highly demanding applications, where she executed capital markets and M&A transactions. Earlier in her career, she was a Vice President with Lehman Brothers in the Private Equity Group and Principal and Structured Finance Group focusing on investments in Financial Services, Industrials and Natural Resources in the Asia Pacific region. Ms. Uahwatanasakul’s other work experience includes professional positions with ChrysCapital where she was involved in private equity in India, and with Merrill Lynch’s Corporate Finance Group in Southeast Asia.

Ms. Uahwatanasakul holds a B.A. degree in Applied Mathematics from Harvard College, a M.S. degree in Engineering-Economics Systems and Operations Research from Stanford University, and a M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
